Spotify announces its AI DJ is now capable of taking vocal song requests on mobile for Premium users. Users can press-and-hold its icon to speak a request that includes/combines various music aspects like genre,

Now, in more than 60 countries, users can prompt DJ X for specific songs, artists, or for mood-based playlists.

Hold the DJ button to switch it up or make new requests. If you want to change the mood but don't have a prompt, a quick tap of the DJ button will skip to the next section. Spotify noted that the new feature is still in beta, so you can't use it for non-music audio like audiobooks or podcasts.
