A pilot managed to walk away from a plane that crashed and caught fire in a wooded area of west Harris County.

The plane caught fire after it crashed in a field near Midway Boulevard and Brainard Drive, according to North Metro Fire.

Officials confirmed that there were no survivors after a small plane crashed in a field near Broomfield on Saturday morning.
