The New England Patriots benefitted greatly from the Buffalo Bills' loss on 'Monday Night Football'. The Patriots are finding success with the head coach-quarterback combination of Mike Vrabel and Drake Maye.

The Patriots added a veteran defender on Wednesday, signing safety Richie Grant to the practice squad. Grant, a 2021 second-round pick out of UCF, started his career with the Falcons and has also spent time with the 49ers.

With the trade deadline less than a month away, rumors have heated up about who could be available for the Patriots.

One player on offense and one player on defense that the Patriots could target at the NFL trade deadline, and more in this week’s mailbag:

Grant, a former second-round draft pick, spent four seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. He was most recently a member of the San Francisco 49ers' practice squad. He has played in 67 games in total and made 33 starts. Throughout his NFL run, he has totaled 275 tackles, 17 pass deflections, two fumble recoveries and three interceptions.
