T ORONTO -- Every so often in the Seattle Mariners clubhouse, the "Top Gun Anthem," full of soaring guitar notes and pick-me-up vibes, will randomly blast from inside a locker. Everyone knows the culprit. Jorge Polanco, the Mariners' veteran second baseman, is not a fan of silencing his phone.

Polanco put Seattle ahead with a 3-run blast in a 10-3 victory over the Blue Jays in ALCS Game 2. "I don't know what to say, man. I'm clutch, but I'm just trying to keep it simple."

The Milwaukee Brewers appeared to be in a world of hurt in the top of the fourth, with the bases loaded and just one out. Max Muncy took a ball deep to center field and it looked like it was going to be a grand slam – and a deep hole for the Brewers.

While the Toronto Blue Jays, Seattle Mariners, Milwaukee Brewers, and Los Angeles Dodgers continue to battle for a World Series Championship, 26 other teams in Major League Baseball have set their sights on the offseason and the moves that will help ensure they are not on the outside looking in at the League Championship Series next year at this time.

MLB Hall of Famer Pedro Martinez believes the Milwaukee Brewers have the capable pitching to win the 2025 World Series.

It's a busy offseason on the MLB managerial carousel. At least nine teams will be changing full-time skippers heading into 2026, including the San Diego Padres. The Padres' job opened on Oct. 13 when Mike Shidlt announced his retirement after two seasons in San Diego.

The Seattle Mariners are favored to win the ALCS over the Toronto Blue Jays as it stands, leading up to Game 2, with odds to win at -225 at BetMGM. A $10 wager on the Mariners to win the series at those odds would yield $4.44 in profit for a total payout of $14.44 if they pulled off the series victory.
