It was a familiar scene, but with different food, I found in a Providence church hall. It’s not uncommon to find parish women in Rhode Island church kitchens making food for festivals and fundraisers.

The Providence Hmong Church is holding its annual eggroll fundraiser on Saturday, May 17. The eggrolls are sold by the dozen, half-dozen, or individually to raise money for a mission trip to Hanoi.
