An active weather pattern is developing over the Great Lakes and should generally last for at least two weeks. This doesn’t mean rain and thunderstorms every day. The bursts of rain and t-storms will probably come every two to three days.

Most of western Massachusetts is under a heat advisory starting Thursday into Friday, as temperatures are expected to climb into the 90s.
This is typical for this time of the year, but with lots of humidity this could amplify the heat. 'Feel's like' temperatures will hover near 100°F through this weekend. This puts most of the Coastal Bend in a 1 or 2 out of 4 (minor to moderate).
