The tower suspected of sparking the Eaton fire was flown out of Eaton Canyon and will be examined by investigators as well as experts hired by those suing the utility.

A Southern California Edison tower that was being removed as part of an investigation into what caused the Eaton fire was removed after it made contact with power lines Thursday afternoon, officials said.
