The Washington Commanders have a new offensive coordinator, and everything about the job has connections to the Arizona Cardinals. Former Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury held the position for the last two seasons, but he and the team parted ways, as he seeks other opportunities. He has been connected to a couple of head coaching positions.
That's an impressive accomplishment in itself, though when you factor in his position on the depth chart in Arizona's offensive system under coordinator Drew Petzing and only eight catches for 52 yards in his first five games, Wilson's strong finish to the year is on a whole different level.
