Severe storms hit the Midwest with tornadoes, softball size hail, and 76 mph winds, leaving thousands in Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan without power.

There were numerous tornado reports in Minnesota and western Wisconsin during Thursday's severe weather outbreak, and strong winds after the storms passed have left more than 10,000 Minnesota residents without power.
