On Sunday morning, a U.S. Army vet gunned down his wife, her father and a neighbor in a quiet Tamarac neighborhood, deputies say.

Seven Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies have been placed on administrative leave as an internal affairs investigation commences over a triple shooting in Tamarac.

BSO Sheriff Gregory Tony admitted that deputies and detectives failed to act on warning signs leading up to the killings.

“For the first 13 years of his life… he was the whole side of attention,” said Ferrin’s uncle John David, who has lived with Ferrin for the last two years in the home on North Plum Bay Parkway where Ferrin was fatally gunned down on Feb. 16.

TAMARAC - A grieving relative of two victims killed in a Broward County triple homicide is holding both the Broward Sheriff's Office and the U.S. military responsible, questioning how the alleged shooter was allowed to remain free despite multiple domestic violence incidents.

Frank Ponzer, the brother of murdered David Ponzer, is critical of the military and the Broward Sheriff's Office over the Tamarac murders of his brother, niece and neighbor over the weekend.
