Sunrise on the Reaping is ramping up to be one of the most exciting upcoming book adaptations, and a lot of that has to do with all the great casting announcements rolling around over the past few weeks.

The formidable leader of Panem has previously been portrayed by Donald Sutherland in the original four films, and in his younger years by Tom Blyth in 2023’s “A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.” Fiennes’ Snow will fall between the two, 40 years after the events of “Songbirds” and 24 years before Katniss Everdeen’s time in the arena.

The new "Hunger Games" prequel film "Sunrise on the Reaping" will star Joseph Zada, Maya Hawke, Lili Taylor and Whitney Peak. See the cast so far.
