After Split Fiction broke the 1 million sales milestone within just 48 hours of release, Hazelight announced that the game has now doubled that number with over 2 million sales in just its first week.

Split Fiction, the newest co-op game from It Takes Two developer Hazelight Studios, launched last week to a strong response from players and press. As gamers continue to experience the unique hybrid of sci-fi and fantasy, Split Fiction has sold over 2 million copies.

Hazelight Studios is known for humor in their games, and as such, fans can expect to find many fun Easter eggs in Split Fiction.

Four years on, Hazelight director Josef Fares (the " Fuck the Oscars " guy) recently revealed in an interview with The Washington Post that It Takes Two has sold 23,000,000 copies, so if Split Fiction keeps up its massive momentum, it could easily surpass that number in even less time.
