The US embassy in Saudi Arabia has been hit by an Iranian drone strike. The American mission in Riyadh was targeted by two drones in the early hours of Tuesday, where a loud blast was heard alongside flames and black smoke billowing into the air.

The US defense secretary says American attacks on Iran will not lead to "endless war". Meanwhile in Cyprus, two drones were intercepted near a UK base, after an earlier attack on Sunday.
