New York tour bus crash on interstate highway leaves 5 passengers dead and many others injured
A tour bus returning to New York City from Niagara Falls has crashed on an interstate highway, killing and injuring multiple people.
All lanes on I-90 in the Town of Pembroke in Genesee County are closed on Friday because of a crash involving a bus, New York State Police have confirmed.
A tour bus returning from a trip to Niagara Falls overturned in upstate New York on Friday, killing five people and injuring dozens of others, some of whom became trapped or ejected, police said. The deadly crash occurred on Interstate 90 in Pembroke, near Buffalo, according to New York State Police.
Right now there is a really bad accident that is happening on the New York State Thruway close to the Pembroke exit. In Pembroke New York there are 52 people that have been injured in a tourist bus rollover accident where 52 have been injured and either have been ejected or trapped inside of the bus.
According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, around 9 a.m., police, EMS, and fire were called to the intersection of 26th Street and Liberty Avenue for a reported two-vehicle crash with entrapment. Once they arrived, they found one person had been hurt on the bus, and the driver of the car had been trapped inside the vehicle.
