Five people died and 24 injured when tour bus rolled over in upstate New York on Friday, after the vehicle's allegedly distracted driver over-compensated on the road.

One of the six patients being treated at the University of Rochester Medical Center after a deadly NY bus crash has been discharged, a hospital spokesperson confirmed.

The crash happened at 12:22 p.m. when a tour bus traveling from Niagara Falls to New York City exited the roadway, went into the median, and then abruptly corrected, according to NYSP.
