NEW YORK — Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw was picked for his 11th MLB All-Star Game and Paul Skenes, James Wood and Elly De La Cruz boosted the 23-and-under group to five when they were picked Sunday for the July 15 showcase at Atlanta’s Truist Park.

Clayton Kershaw was selected to his 11th All-Star Game this year. The star pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers earned an All-Star bid as the "Legend Pick" and will have the chance to pitch for the NL All-Star Team. He was selected by MLB commissioner Rob Manfred.

Kershaw is in what will likely be his final MLB season, and after the left-hander notched his 3,000th strikeout last week, he'll be given the honor of being named to the All-Star team by Manfred, a gesture made in recognition of his legendary career.
