In a lengthy Instagram post on Wednesday, the White Stripes rocker — who was called "a washed up, has-been loser" by White House Communications Director Steven Cheung on Tuesday — blasted Trump and his Administration, calling them "petty and pathetic and thin skinned."
White issued a lengthy statement after a Trump Administration official called him a "washed-up, has-been loser" this week after White critiqued Trump's design choices at the Oval Office.
"I was raised to believe that we defeated fascism in World War II and that we would never allow it again in the world," musician Jack White said Wednesday on social media.
In 2022, White pulled his record label, Third Man Records, off of X after the social media platform's owner, Elon Musk, allowed Trump to return to the social media platform. In 2016, Third Man sold T-shirts with the phrase, "Icky Trump," a reference to the White Stripes' 2007 album, "Icky Thump."
