An Air India Boeing 787-8 flight headed for New Delhi returned to Hong Kong shortly after takeoff Monday because of a "technical issue," Indian media reported.

An Air India flight from Hong Kong to Delhi had to return shortly after takeoff due to a suspected technical issue. An audio clip has surfaced in which the pilot can be heard requesting to return to Hong Kong for safety reasons.
