Nearly three years of waiting may come to an end, as Colorado Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar stated Wednesday that, "there's a good chance Gabe Landeskog is gonna play tonight."

The veteran forward was one of the first players out for warmups ahead of Game 2 between the Stars and Avalanche at American Airlines Center. That turned out to be the only time Landeskog saw the ice Monday.

The Colorado Avalanche activated forward and captain Gabriel Landeskog from injured reserve Monday ahead of Game 2 of their first-round playoff series at the Dallas Stars.
