Monsoon rains left at least 10 people dead in the densely populated port city, with more heavy downpours predicted.

Rescuers and residents resumed searching on Tuesday for survivors as the death toll from five days of torrential rain rose to almost 400, with authorities warning monsoon downpours would continue until the weekend.

Since late June, monsoon disasters in Pakistan have killed 739 people and damaged over 2,400 homes. Continued severe weather raises concerns of further flooding and landslides.
