HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Rain is coming to Eastern Kentucky as we head into the evening hours.

FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy and quiet for most of the day. Freezing rain, sleet, and rain arrive after 4 PM. Slick roads likely in the evening and overnight hours. After midnight a transition to just rain is likely as air temperatures warm just above freezing. High around 32F. Low 34F

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - Tuesday will be one of the coldest days of the week with morning lows in the single digits. In fact, the wind chill woes are back. Slightly breezy winds to go along with single digit air temperatures will cause wind chills to range anywhere from -5° to -10° around and south of Highway 29 and closer to -15° in the Northwoods.

It’s a bit cooler this morning across the region, with another day of highs in the low-to-mid 40s. The north coast is the main area of concern this morning, as it’s experiencing winter weather activity. Accumulations today will be light, with up to 3” of snow expected. This has caused some school delays along the coast.

We will enter a First Alert Weather Day late tonight as snow will cause slippery to snow covered roads on the Thursday morning commute.

Fog and low clouds will delay today’s warming some, but with afternoon sunshine still expect temperatures to reach the upper 70s/near 80 today.
