The legendary star of Being John Malkovich, Con Air, Rounders, Red, and more was cast in the film and shot all his scenes. But, it turns out, those scenes have now been cut.

Months of speculation over John Malkovich’s “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” character were done in vain. TheWrap has learned Malkovich has been cut from “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” less than two weeks ahead of the film’s July 25 release.

Matt Shakman, who directed the upcoming MCU feature The Fantastic Four: First Steps, revealed in a new interview which character was the most difficult to cast for the movie.
