Essex Police "have questions to answer" after pro-migrant protesters were guided to the Epping hotel at the centre of violence, the migration minister has said.
After a series of demonstrations outside a "migrant hotel" in Epping, Essex police have confirmed that five men have been charged, four with violent disorder.
The large group of protesters gathered outside a hotel in Canary Wharf, London, were swarmed by cops and police vans amid claims on social media that asylum seekers are being housed there. The Daily Express understands that no asylum seekers are being housed in the hotel and there are no plans to do so.
