The new owner of the Baltimore Orioles, David Rubenstein, has joined the growing list of folks advocating for a salary cap in Major League Baseball. In a recent interview, Rubenstein expressed his wish for MLB to implement a system similar to the NFL and NBA.

Rubenstein has little margin to raise this concern since he has the capital to be able to afford the players he truly covets.
