Lifelong friends of Winnipeg-born forward Seth Jarvis say driving all the way to Boston was worth it to see their home boy lace up his skates for Canada as the team defeated the United States in the thrilling 4 Nations Face-Off overtime final.

On Thursday, all eyes will be on Boston as Team USA and Canada​ square off at TD Garden during a rematch of a game that started with three fights in the first nine seconds.

Connor McDavid, taking a Mitch Marner pass, scored on a wrist shot from the slot at 8:18 of overtime to lift Canada to a 3-2 win, beating goalie Connor Hellebuyck to capture the 4 Nations Faceoff championship for Canada at the Garden.
