Oklahoma State baseball pulled off one ninth-inning rally to extend its season Sunday at the NCAA Athens Regional, but could not turn the trick twice.

Oklahoma State had plenty of doubters entering the postseason but proved its worth on the big stage. Going into the NCAA Tournament, it seemed like the Cowboys were simply there because of a hot couple of weeks to finish the season.

ATHENS, Ga. — Sam Harris singled up the middle to score runners from first and second in a three-run eighth inning and Duke rallied past Oklahoma State 3-2 on Sunday night to win the Athens Regional. Duke (40-19) is headed to the super regionals for the fourth time in program history.
