Two cell devices, three kinds of medicine and other items were taken from the New Mexico home where legendary actor Gene Hackman and his wife, along with their dog, were found dead this week in circumstances officials deemed “suspicious enough” to warrant thorough investigation.

The actor’s wife and one of their dogs were also found dead at their Santa Fe home, discovered after some time by a maintenance worker.
