The Atlanta Falcons still have veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins on the roster despite his hefty price tag for the 2025 NFL season. Since the team has no desire to release Cousins, a trade is the only realistic option for him to find a new home.

While it appears that Aaron Rodgers is signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team apparently has a contingency plan in place if something goes awry. During a recent SportsCenter appearance, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler said that -- based on conversations he had during last week's NFL league meetings -- Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins is "at the very least" on the Steelers' radar.

If the always mercurial Aaron Rodgers ends up retiring or waiting too long, the Falcons and Steelers might strike a deal.
