Depends on exactly what you prioritise. Agrari is very quiet but has coarse sand and difficult entry into the sea. It is one of the few quiet beaches that also has recliners and umbrellas plus a bar service and choice of food. Left hand side is generally textiles, right hand side clothing optional. Just to the east of Agrari is Elia which is also quiet compared with Paradise etc to the west. We haven't been there for a couple of years but it was always a pleasant spot with loungers for hire and a zone to suit your taste, straight or gay, more or less clothing, plus places to eat and drink. I'd also agree with Marios T in that Kalo Livadi is a good spot that is not too crowded. In September the weather is still good and roads, beaches and restaurants not too busy. We always visit in June or September which are far better, and cheaper, than July and August. Hope you enjoy Mykonos!
Q:
Are there any markets within walking distance from the beach?
A:
Yes there is a mini mart at the rear of the bar/restaurant complex, also a small store on the beach, for drinks, etc. the Paraga Camping also has a well stocked supermarket.
