Yes, but given this situation, I wouldn't. It may be closed. Call Lexington PD or parks and recreation at Maiden Lane. Be careful. Mask and gloves please.
could you view the dam without having to walk the walkway?

Absolutely. The eastbound lanes of SC 6 keep you on level with the water as you cross the dam. The westbound lanes drop you down between the two dams in the middle.
What kind of spiders are on the guard rails of the bridge? I'm here from Indiana working on some pontoon boats,took the walk across the damm saw all the spiders.
