This is the most beautiful place. A little train goes up to the top and a leisurely walk down. It's so very pretty with stunning views. Visiting Tossa is a must. It's wonderful.Full review by BOC61NMC

Hello, We will be staying near Perpignan for 7 days from the 27th. We've got the car with us so transport isn't a problem, would just like to know how long it would take to get there and how easy the drive is. Many thanks :)

It will take 90 minutes, give or take. Most of the way is toll motorways. Last 25 Km are local roads, but moderna and we'll paved. You have to take the exit to Lloret and from there to Tossa (10 Km of much narrower, winding road, but also well paved and the views are fantastic. You will probably encourage ter quite a bit of traffic and, if possible, I would advise you to avoid weekends. Check my reviews for places to eat. Restaurants in the Old Town itself and beach front tend to be expensive.

Hi, it's around 88 kilometres distance to Tossa de Mar from Barcelona. I think the quickest option would be train but I think that takes you to Blaines and then you would need to get a taxi or bus to Tossa. There is also a bus service. You will be looking at around 2 hrs travel each way. Tossa de Mar and the Villa Vella are well worth the trip. If you are staying in Barcelona, a trip to Montserrat is a must! Enjoy!
We are two adults with an infant (under 2 yrs). Need a good view but at the same time convenience to reach the room as our toddler might not be able to walk and will be held by one of us. Please suggest.
